Ankle is OK I think. Went to doctor and was sent for x-rays to be told that its not broken! Pffft! I could've told them that and saved $140! Since I was walking on it without a significant limp, it was only swollen so I knew it wasnt that serious. So for this weeks game I will play Goal Shooter just to be safe. I havent done any cardio so as not to make it worse but I have still completed all of this weeks weights which is good. Food hasnt been 100% but I know where Im going wrong - portion sizes too big. I dont eat any junk food so that must be the reason I cant lose weight - I have to focus on eating smaller and not picking. I am going to train once a week with Kek just for a bit of motivation and a kick up the butt. After all Christmas is only about 12 weeks away! I am going to be extra good today and tomorrow because after the game on Sunday we are going to dinner for my mums birthday. The restaurant is fabulous and has the most wonderful dessert so I will be good and only have a meal without any appetisers such as garlic bread or dips or pick at the kids leftovers. That way I can afford to have a small dessert.
The week after is my nephews christening and the week after that is another wedding! God help me! Very Bad - especially since I'm not doing cardio. I'll get back into it soon though but its best to be a little cautious so I dont do more damage and then I'm out for ages.

Good news and bad news.
Good news first - netball was sooooo much fun! Of course we lost by 31 goals but who cares! We were ecstatic that we even made it through the whole match. We managed to score only one measly goal but we had a lot of possession of the ball, we just kept giving it away by doing silly things like contact and offside and touching the net with the ball. Ahh! If we only knew the rules properly! I played Goal Defence and guess what?? I got the Most Valuable Player award! Woohoo!!! One of our girls managed to trip over herself and hurt her ankle so that wasnt good and the next day our only goal scorer was and still is in agony with a back problem but overall everythings fine until........................
Here comes the bad news - I was in a step class this morning when (dont ask me how) I fell off the side of the step and twisted my ankle and fell hard on my butt! I couldnt move for a while but I finally got up and gingerly walked out (dying of embarrassment and pain). Then I had to go to the office, remembering the elevation rule I thought, is it possible to drive with one leg on the dashboard?? I am still in a bit of pain but I have ice on it now so hopefully I will be right by next sunday otherwise we are screwed. We really need to find some substitute players since the other guys are injured too. Of course Ange cancelled - he always does. Whenever we ask him somewhere he goes yeah, I'll come and then always doesnt. Anyway, I wont do any training this week in the hope of being Ok for the weekend. It cant be serious right? since I can walk on it? Fingers crossed!!!!!!

In two days time, me and six other people will be embarrassing ourselves in front of the whole stadium. Yes, its our first netball match. Many of us havent played before at all and others havent played for 15-20 years so it should be interesting to say the least! Hubby and I went to watch last week just to see how tough the competition is but we were dismayed when even the fittest looking people came off the court panting. O-oh! We're in trou-ble! The court is surrounded by nets so the ball is never out of play like traditional netball, it is pretty much non stop. But dont worry, we were assured, you get a break at half time. Oh thats alright then, how long 10 minutes? 15? No! A measly ONE MINUTE! Thats not even enough time to walk off the court! If youre unlucky enough to be at the far end, by the time you get to the bench your time is up! Oh well, its all a bit of fun, we aren't expecting to win for at least 5 or 6 rounds so its all good. Our centre position pulled out so I had to recruit my boss Ange (personal trainer) to play. At least he's fit, fast and tall unlike the rest of us. I'm the second fittest so I will probably play GD or wing. The rest of us havent exercised in years and are all severely overweight so we'll see how long we last. We are trying to think of a good team name, how about the marshmallows or the good year blimps?
Tomorrow is the first of two weddings in a month, I have been saving myself all week in order to eat everything on the night. I love food and I'd rather be good during the week so I can eat a nice big dessert. I'll let u know how the weekend goes on Monday.

I have decided to start a mixed netball team with a few people to inject some fun into my weeknights. I used to play when I was younger so hopefully I dont make a complete fool of myself! Problem is there can only be three guys on the team maximum. We have lots of guys but only three girls so we need to recruit one more.
Mum has returned from a two month overseas trip today so I will see her and I also have to go to work tonight. Must write up a more complex program for a new client who already has a good level of fitness and strength.
Thursday I have a market research appointment where they pay you $100 for your opinion. It goes for two hours so thats not too bad. I do them every so often and this time the product is Philadelphia cream cheese.
Wedding number one is the end of next week so I better be real careful about what I shove down my throat. Scale weight still hasnt budged but hopefully something will happen soon. I've been pretty good apart from a bad day a couple weeks ago for fathers day lunch. Note to self: NEVER GO TO A BUFFET RESTAURANT EVER AGAIN! I really have no self control when it comes to the dessert section. Must look good in the dress next week and a few weeks later is the second wedding so I really have to have lost something by then. I realised a few weeks ago that my weight hasnt changed for about a year now so I really need to start moving forward again. If I'm still the same at Christmas I will kick myself!

I am feeling great today, well I wasnt in the morning. I dragged myself to the gym coz I couldnt be bothered but before I started I got a phone call from the advertising lady about my ad (the one about outdoor group sessions) I paid her by credit card and she started asking about it and she is interested in joining! Yippee, my first outdoor client! Now, I just need some more in her area to form a group. The ad will be in the next issue to come out end of the month. I really felt awful in the morning (its that time of the month) so that put me in a good mood and I burst into the gym and gave it everything. I did my interval session on the treadmill on an incline for the first time. God it was alot harder - or was it in my head? It was only a slight incline but I felt it. I feel good when I run considering I couldnt even jog for a minute to begin with! I ran outdoors yesterday which is much more enjoyable - about 48 mins I think and no stopping! I really want to aim for 10km soon. I reckon I am doing about 7.5k in that time. WHat's another 2.5km?

Back into normal training now, finally! Eating has been better and I'm motivating myself by trying to start up some new outdoor group personal training classes for spring. I have put up a few flyers but no calls just yet. I have also tried to set up my own website, I'm not very good so I havent tried the real thing yet but I set up a tripod one. They guide you through the whole thing and you just choose a layout and whatever pics and text you want. It was pretty easy actually. I'm not game enough yet to try to create one from scratch. Anyway, if anyone wants to check it out it is at http://lizdimakis.tripod.com/
I have a couple of weddings now to look good for so I have to be really good. Work is going well too, I have a couple new clients this week so thats good. It seems people are getting into it now that spring is here. Hopefully the outdoor thing picks up, its a really good idea coz there are a few places that do it but none near my area so fingers crossed.
