Its been a good week for food - I have pretty much stuck to the plan and i think I have lost a kilo so that's good news. Ever since I saw these kids at fed square on the weekend in a dance show I have wanted to start dance lessons. I think it'd be cool. I love all the new music around at the moment. When I'm doing housework I love to have the music channel blaring and I dance around to it. How embarrassing, I cant believe I just admitted to that!

A huge shock!!! Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day. I really look forward to it and if I could eat breakfast 3 times a day intead of other meals I would be blissfully happy! Currently I'm having 1/2 plain oats and 1/2 norganic (which is basically oats sweetened by apple) with skinny milk. Now these both state that a 30g serve is about 460kjs. Imagine my shock when I decided to weigh my serve this morning to see what I actually consume and my small bowl took 200g of the stuff!!!! In other words I am consuming about 4000kjs for breakfast (including milk) and I thought I was doing alright! No wonder I cant seem to lose any weight recently!! I am having more than half of my intake in just breakfast! 200g does sound a lot but it certainly doesnt look like much (just the same as a small tub of yoghurt). HOw can people eat the recommended serving size of just 30g? That's basically a couple of tablespoons, I would be starving!! The good news is that it does keep me full for a long time afterwards because even though I should be having smaller more regular meals the morning is usually pretty busy for me so I dont have time to eat. To think I stopped eating oats with protein powder & protein crunch because I thought it was too high in calories! Oh well, now I know. I will stop eating it for now because I dont think I could handle reducing to such a small quantity. I will instead have a protein shake with water and maybe an egg white pancake. That should keep me for a while.
Anyway, I went for a run today for 40 mins and yesterday I did a pump class and 20mins high intensity intervals on treadmill. On Wednesday I ran to shops (2omins) walked around for about 40 mins and then ran home again (25mins). Tuesday was a step class and 30mins of abs/butt work. So next week I will resume my normal weights and keep doing the cardio as normal. I can still do the same fitnesswize but my heart rate is higher than what it used to be before I got sick. I guess thats good coz I burn more calories! Nothing planned for the weekend, maybe I'll do some more reading on this HTML stuff I'm trying to learn. I'm trying to build my own website (I'm not very good). Gotta run now - I'm at work!

I just figured out how to change the timezone setting from USA to Australia so all my blogs were shown as weird hours when I was probably sleeping but really I was at work in the middle of the day. Oh well, just thought I'd share that.

I'm back! I finally went to the gym today for the first time in ages and I did a Body Attack class and Pump straight after. Attack was a killer - how much fitness can you lose in two weeks? My heart rate was through the roof, well I guess I'm not completely 100% yet - I'm about 85%. Oh well, I didnt do my own split weights coz I thought I should just start off with a full body workout and I'm betting I'll be sore tomorrow.
I cant believe what bad luck I've had but I also came down with a bad case of conjunctivitis over the weekend, someone definately jinxed me!
My good news is that I got two of my articles published by the Amino Z website, check them out! Also, Jay (the owner of the website) asked me to be a regular contributor! Woohoo!
Back to work today but no PT work this week coz the studio is closed for a week (ange on holidays). Yay! I get to go straight home after the office today. Had a crap weekend coz I had to work in my brothers take away shop while he went away, it was his birthday so I agreed reluctantly. Tomorrow I have a market research appointment where all I have to do is walk around Target and give my opinion on how things look and I get a $50 voucher at the end. I love shopping so its like nothing for me.
I definately have to focus on diet this week coz I have put on a couple kilos since I've been away from the gym so I have to be very careful!!! Better get back to work now, bye.

Still sick, I cant believe it! I have never been sick this many times in one year before in my life! I tried to walk my daughter to kinder this morning and I nearly died - my heart rate was through the roof! No gym for me this week I think. Oh well, just about to eat a huge bowl of hot soup. Not going to work today either.

Not good news for me, no sooner did I recover from that dreadful cold last week, now I have another one of a different variety. My throat hurts and I feel a bit light headed so no training for me today. Yesterday I went to the gym and did chest and triceps (weights felt harder than usual) and a 20 min run on treadmill which felt OK. I dont know why I keep getting sick but I dont want to take more time off - I didnt train for a week last week. Better go now, I'm trying to offload a few things on ebay plus I better rest coz its hubby's b'day today and we are going out tonight.

I am so unlucky sometimes. Today I decided to go for a run since there was only a couple clouds in the sky and 10 mins into it I got absolutely soaked from a sudden heavy downpour. Stupid Melbourne weather!! This is the second time its happened - last time I went I got soaked too. I know when I see people jogging in the rain I think "WHat idiots!" - well, I got the same stares from drivers this time. At least this time my top wasnt see through. Oh well, have to do some washing and cooking and then its off to work.

I am better now but I havent done any weights or cardio yet. Well, I did a Step class yesterday but that's it. Today I am at home so instead of going to the gym (I cant be bothered) I will spend the day doing housework and keeping active. I will go for my run tomorrow and I think its back to the gym on Friday.
Saturday is hubby's birthday so I'm trying to decide whether to go out for dinner or have a BBQ at home. It would only be a small family thing - maybe 12 people but I'm trying to think of all the prep and cleaning involved. Going out for dinner would be much easier but more expensive coz we'd have to shout everyone's meals and drinks. Each time we have a "do" at home I always say "God, I'm never doing that again - ever!" I really dont want to spend my weekend cooking and cleaning.
Food has been good for the past few days but nothing has happened on the scales. I think instead of worrying about protein carbs and fat I will concentrate on calories in/calories out. After all that's what weight loss comes down to in the end isnt it? We'll see how it goes.
